Boise National Forest
Almost all of the area is administered by the Emmett Ranger District. The Silver Creek and Middle Fork of the Payette River’ s have an extensive trail and camping network, as well as an abundance of natural hot springs. Go to the Ranger District ’s website for information on camping, hot springs, and hiking and biking trails. Fishing is excellent all summer both for native trout and hatchery trout.

Silver Creek Plunge

This is a great family owned resort. It has a large natural geothermal hot springs pool, camping areas, and cabins. The Plunge has many activities available including volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, and fishing.

Garden Valley Area

Garden Valley and Crouch has lodging, food, golf, shopping and other amenities. Check out the chamber of commerce website for more information.
