About Broken Spoke Cycling Broken Spoke Cycling is a small, grass-roots, not-for-profit organization located in the Idaho’s Treasure Valley dedicated to the sport of cycling. Broken Spoke is a sanctioned club with USA Cycling. We promote a healthy lifestyle and believe that it is our responsibility to participate in community charity and stewardship activities. We have a small team that is growing quickly. Our members include mountain bikers and road bikers. We all live in the Treasure Valley, Idaho, are dedicated to the sport and love to ride, whether is it racing or enjoying group rides. We have members that started racing as little as a year ago, youngsters who have just started riding, as well as riders with decades of experience.
Our goal is to support cycling as a community activity and teach environmental responsibility and good sportsmanship to people of all ages. Not only does cycling promote a healthy lifestyle, it also brings out the competitive side in all of us. Cycling provides a safe atmosphere for people of all ages to compete and push themselves further than the believed they could go. We organize several annual racing and training events for the local and regional community to celebrate our desire to promote a lifestyle and sport that we love. Above all, we have fun.
Our website is full of great information on our team, promoted races, team activities and group rides. Our main sponsors are The Shoulder, Elbow, Hand Clinic (Dr. Dominc Gross), Larson-Miller Medical Waste Disposal Service, Saint Alphonsus Hospital Please take time to visit our sponsors, they are responsible for the core funding and support of our team and the racing and riding events we promote for Southern Idaho cyclists.
